Uma criança de cinco anos mobilizou uma operação do Corpo de Bombeiros após subir em uma torre de transmissão de energia elétrica em Ariquemes, Rondônia. O menino foi encontrado em uma área elevada da estrutura, próxima a cabos energizados e com risco de queda. Segundo a ocorrência, o resgate teria ocorrido a uma altura superior a três metros. No entanto, não foi informada a altura exata em que o menino estava quando foi localizado.
Diante do risco, os bombeiros precisaram utilizar equipamentos específicos para chegar até o menino. Um dos militares subiu pela estrutura da torre utilizando técnicas de segurança em altura e conseguiu alcançar a criança.

Depois da abordagem, o garoto foi preso ao corpo do bombeiro com equipamentos de segurança. A medida permitiu reduzir o risco de queda durante a retirada.

Na sequência, os dois desceram da torre utilizando a técnica de rapel. Enquanto o militar realizava a descida com a criança acoplada ao equipamento, os demais integrantes da equipe davam suporte e controlavam a operação a partir do solo.
Após chegar ao chão, a criança foi avaliada inicialmente pela equipe da Unidade de Resgate. Segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros, o menino não apresentava ferimentos e estava com os sinais vitais estáveis.
Além da possibilidade de queda, a proximidade com os cabos energizados representava risco de choque elétrico durante a ocorrência. Depois da avaliação, a criança ficou sob responsabilidade do Conselho Tutelar e das autoridades que acompanhavam o atendimento.
