A possibilidade de Cacau integrar uma eventual nova leva de nomes ou até aparecer em “Avenida Brasil 2” ao longo da trama também foi levantada. No entanto, a jornalista Janaína Nunes entrou em contato com a assessoria da atriz, que confirmou que ela não estará na produção. Segundo a equipe, a decisão não partiu da artista, mas da própria direção da novela, que não fez um convite para seu retorno.
