Felipe & Rodrigo viveram uma noite especial em Nashville, nos Estados Unidos, ao subirem no palco do “Whiskey Jam”, evento tradicional da cena country local. Em entrevista para Mônica Apor, repórter do portal LeoDias, a dupla contou que sentiu o peso da responsabilidade de se apresentar em um espaço que já recebeu nomes como Chris Stapleton e Luke Combs.
O reencontro com a cidade aconteceu oito meses depois de os sertanejos lançarem, em São Paulo, o primeiro EP gravado por lá. Desta vez, a apresentação também serviu como gravação do segundo EP do projeto, reforçando a relação da dupla com a capital da música country e abrindo um novo capítulo dessa fase internacional da carreira. “Esse aqui foi um dos maiores [frios na barriga] da minha vida, não vou mentir, não. A responsabilidade é muito grande”, admitiu Rodrigo.

Já Felipe resumiu a experiência com bom humor: “O povo aqui tá acostumado com música country. ‘Nóis veio’ aqui, ‘tocamo’ um arrocha aqui e bugou a mente dessa moçada!”. A apresentação também rendeu pedido de bis. Depois de tocarem as quatro músicas que haviam preparado, os dois foram chamados para mais uma e decidiram levar repertório próprio ao palco.
