Ao falar sobre a contratação do italiano pela CBF, Tuca foi direto e classificou a decisão da entidade como uma “burrada”. O brasileiro também criticou a postura apresentada pela equipe em campo e fez uma avaliação bastante negativa do trabalho realizado até aqui.

”O Ancelotti é um morto. Foi uma burrada da Federação Brasileira. Uma verdadeira burrada! Olha o que ele fez com a seleção brasileira. Não tem sangue, entrega, nada. Conseguiu fazer o pior. Burrada”, disparou.
O treinador também citou a partida contra a Noruega para questionar o comportamento da Seleção. Na avaliação de Ferretti, faltou pressão sobre o adversário em uma jogada que terminou em gol.
”Agora, pior ainda: você viu a partida contra a Noruega? Gostou? Viu a entrega dos brasileiros? Nenhuma, zero. Não houve entrega dos brasileiros. Não é possível que um jogador controle a bola, domine e faça o gol sem que nenhum jogador saia para pressioná-lo. Sabe como o Brasil jogou? Como o Real Madrid no último ano do Ancelotti”, completou.
Brasileiro tem longa trajetória no México
Tuca Ferretti é um dos treinadores brasileiros que construíram uma trajetória extensa no futebol mexicano. O técnico teve passagens importantes por Tigres e Pumas, além de comandar clubes como Chivas, Toluca, Morelia, Juárez e Cruz Azul.
A relação com a seleção mexicana também faz parte de sua carreira. Ferretti assumiu a equipe de maneira interina em duas oportunidades, em 2015 e 2018. Ao todo, esteve à frente do México em dez partidas.

Foi justamente a partir do debate sobre a presença de estrangeiros no futebol mexicano que o treinador abordou a situação de Ancelotti no Brasil. Para Ferretti, a compreensão da cultura futebolística local é um dos pontos que devem ser considerados por um profissional ao assumir uma seleção.
